YW Temple Block

I make these each time a YW in my ward earns her YW medallion.  The pictures I download from lilluna.com.  I let each girl choose their own temple picture and I have it printed.  I cut a wood block and painted it.  Then I glue on the temple picture.  I tie it with a ribbon on the side and glue on buttons for each value color.

Because Some we Love is in Heaven...

I bought the wood from WalMart and painted it.  I bought the word file from Silhouette and cut it on vinyl on my Silhouette. I added the flowers for embellishment.

Fire Cake

My oldest needed to make a cake with his dad.  And of course, the needed my guidance.  Aftr bakin and frosting the cake we roasted some marshmallows to place around the sides.  We bought some Twix for the logs.  The fire is made from hard candies melted in the oven and broken into pieces.

St Patricks tie shirts

I cut the ties on HTV using my Silhouette.  File was from Happy Sil Site.

Carrot Cake

I made this Carrot Cake for Easter.  The carrots are sugar waffle cones filled with cake batter and baked.  Then I dipped the "carrots" in orange chocolate and put green licorice strands on top.  The cake is covered with crushed Oreos.  Then the carrots are pushed into cake.

Bench Seat Cushions

My husband and I did this project together.  We cut the wood for the base.  We placed the cushions on top of the wood.  Then we wrapped the fabric around and stapled to the bottom.

Cub Scout Display

I sewed this and then glued on my son's on all his things he earned while in Cub Scouts.

Beach Hair Don't Care

I made these shirts for a beach vacation we took.  I got the file for Silhouette School.  HTV was cut on my Silhouette and heat pressed to shirts.

Lego Mini Figure Display

We bought the frames at Ikea.  We took Lego boards and glue onto the frame back.  Then we took Legos to make stands for each of the Mini-figures.

Oh Holy Night

I cut the blocks to make these gifts.  The manger scene is cut out of black vinyl on my Silhouette. File was found in Happy Sil Site.  O Holy Night was also cut in black vinyl.  Font is aka Dora.  I tied ribbon around the whole block and into a bow at the top.

Mickey Mouse Cake

Cake is made using a round cake pan and two ball pans.

Dr Who Valentine Shirt & Valentine Box

My son wanted a Dr. Who valentine shirt.  The Police Box is a file from Happy Sil Site.  The heart is a file that I had already (I think from Miss Kate Cuttables).  The font is Arial.  Shirt design was cut out of HTV on my Silhouette.

Sunflower is painted.  Wood was bought at The Wood Connection.

Balls Birthday Cake

I bought a special pan to make little balls.  I colored the batter before baking.  After the balls were baked I made the white cake mix.  I placed the balls in a deep round cake pan and poured the batter over the top.  Then I frosted and decorated with more balls.

Target

I made this for my boys for Christmas.  The circles I hand cut out of blue, yellow, and red fabric.  Then I sewed them on to a white backdrop of heavy canvas material.  I sewed ribbons at the top.  The stand is made out of PVC pipes.

Skeleton Costume

I didn't make all of my costume.  I bought the shirt and pants on Amazon.  But I did do my hat.  I cut it out of HTV on my Silhouette.

3DS and Case

My son wanted me to put his name on his 3DS and case.  The font is Firestarter.  I cut it out of 651 vinyl on my Silhouette.

Darth Vader Valentine Shirt & Hogwarts Box

I got the Darth Vader file from Happy Sil Site and cut it on my Silhouette using HTV.

My son helped do his Valentine Box.  He wanted it to be something with Harry potter.  He drew bricks to look like the train station wall.  Then we found a picture of the 9 3/4 sign and taped it on the box.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I did the shirts for some ladies and me of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  The front shell was cut on my Silhouette with a file from Happy Sil Site.  The back shell is made from a large roasting pan that we painted and tied with string to go on our backs.
